‘Rear extension and landscaping’ architectural model – 1:50 scale

This 1:50 scale model shows the proposed extension and patio landscaping. No architects plans were available when we built this model. The model was developed from photographs and some basic ground measurements. On completion, the model showed large areas of shadow created by the high retaining wall. This enabled the client to make major design changes to the groundworks before the building work commenced. Our client commented…

“After seeing the model we decided to extend the patio, do away with the side French windows and slightly stagger the patio wall. ”
